Data-Driven Borehole Siting & Drilling, Anywhere in Kenya.
We combine satellite imagery, geological survey data, and GIS-based fracture mapping to pinpoint groundwater before you spend a shilling on drilling.
Our Services
Before any drilling begins, we conduct a full hydrogeological investigation of your site, combining geophysical survey methods, satellite and geological structure analysis, and field verification to identify the most viable drilling point. Our findings are compiled into a certified hydrogeological survey report, which forms the technical basis for your WRA permit application and guides the entire drilling process.
Already have a drilling contractor lined up, or drilling in progress? We offer independent supervision by a licensed hydrogeologist to verify that drilling depth, casing, and construction meet technical and regulatory standards.
To complete your water system, we offer water storage tank construction and solar panel installation for solar-powered pumping, reducing reliance on the grid and ensuring consistent water access even in off-grid locations.
Groundwater Works is led by a registered and licensed hydrogeologist, giving every project the technical oversight and regulatory standing required for professional groundwater development in Kenya. From initial site investigation through to a fully equipped, permitted borehole, we manage, or independently supervise, the entire process.
Drilling a borehole in Kenya requires authorization from the Water Resources Authority (WRA), supported by a qualified hydrogeologist's survey report. As a licensed hydrogeologist, Mr. Jeremiah Mbaisi prepares and submits the full permit application on your behalf, ensuring your project is compliant before drilling begins, avoiding the delays and legal exposure of unpermitted work.
After drilling, we conduct pump (yield) testing to determine your borehole's sustainable abstraction rate, then design and install a pump system matched to your site's yield, depth, and intended use.
Routine inspection, camera-based internal assessment, and maintenance for existing boreholes to extend operational life and catch problems before they become costly failures.
Once siting and permitting are complete, we manage the drilling process end-to-end: casing, screening, gravel packing, grouting, and full borehole development. Whether using our own drilling team or coordinating a vetted contractor, every stage is carried out to the specifications set in your survey report.
Every completed borehole should be tested before use. We arrange physical, chemical, and bacteriological water analysis to confirm the water is safe and fit for its intended purpose (domestic, irrigation, or commercial).
